The Armed Police Force of Nepal is a paramilitary Land fighting power entrusted with counter-rebellion operations in Nepal. It works as a semi-military wing, and involves a kind of double part as both military and law requirement. Administration is intentional and the base age for selection is 18 years. At first established with a program of 15,000 police and military staff, the Armed Police Force is anticipated to have a corps of 40,000 at the end of 2015. In February 1996, the ideologically Maoist Communist Party of Nepal working as the United People's Front of Nepal started what was then named the "General population's War".
