PRADEEP GYAWALI SPEECH
CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has reiterated the UML’s stance that it will not allow the constitution amendment bill to be endorsed by the Parliament, claiming the bill to be against the national interest. At a press meet with the editors and senior media persons from various media houses organized by UML Central Publicity Department in Kathmandu today, leader Oli made this remark while shedding light on the UML’s nation-wide Mechi-Mahakali National Campaign. Dismissing the hearsay that UML is anti-Madhesh, the former Prime Minister claimed that previous government led by him had allocated the highest budget in Madhesh. Oli expressed his qualm over the statement by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi, stating that it was aimed at marring the UML’s nation-wide campaign.
