As president of Uganda Idi Amin can be described as possibly one of the most brutal dictators of all time. He is responsible for the execution of hundreds of thousands of his own people, many of which were broadcast on television, and his men’s signature method to kill and torture people was to use sledge hammers. In total he killed and tortured between 300,000 to 500,000 Ugandans.
