Promotion of Bhawarkot lies in Parbat district
For the promotion of Bhawarkot of Parbat district the local residents have become aware. In the ancient "Baise Chaubise State" there used to be the rule of Malla Kings at the northern side of Parbat district. The northern part of Parbat district is Bhawarkot and for the promotion of tourism in this sector, the locals of this area have become aware. Bhawarkot is the confluence point of three different village development committee (VDC) including Deupur, Deurali and Bhuktang VDC. And, to develop this Bhawarkot as the tourism sector and religious sites the locals have become aware and have been going forward. According to the religious beliefs, Bhawarkot area has even been confluence as the Harihara area. Information Officer Tulsi Ram Sharma, District Development Committee, Parbat said, they have been planning to join Ghorepani-Sikhedhara and Mustang through this Bhawarkot and in other to join Kaski through Dhampus. Parbat district is the district that has carried great possibility of tourism. Bhawarkot is 2,300 meter above from the sea level and can enjoy beautiful sight seeing of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna Himalayas including Panchase area, Fewa Lake of Pokhara and many more places. Devendra Giri, Secretary of Bhawarkot Sector Development Society, Parbat said even till past few years they have not been treating the Nepalese and Indian as the tourist as there are no any control in their way of expenses. And there used to be calculation of expenses everyday as well as the identity of the foreigners. Bhawarkot can be reached easily after the four hours of trekking route through Paticahuar roadways of Pokhara- Baglung roadways and also can travel through vehicle route from Nayapul of Kaski - Birethanti.
