Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairperson Kamal Thapa has stressed the need to bring together all leaders and cadres through the unity general convention to bail the country out of the vicious circle of crisis. Inaugurating the first unity general convention of RPP here Friday, Chairperson Thapa stressed the need of unity among nationalist forces. RPP National Chairperson Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani expressed the commitment to work to keep power balance by consolidating internal democratic culture and ending the tendency of making the party a private belonging of a particular faction. Also speaking on the occasion, senior leader Lokendra Bahadur Chand underlined the importance of keeping the unprecedented message of the unity general convention of RPP alive for long. Likewise, another senior leader, Pashupati Shumsher Rana, said the party merger was undertaken to give leadership to the development of the country when other parties could not perform keeping in mind the interest and aspirations of the people. Various leaders including Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum Nepal (Loktantrik) Chair Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar, Co-Chair of Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party Hridayesh Tripathi Sadbhavana Party Co-Chair Laxman Lal Karna and CPN-ML general secretary CP Mainali wished for the success of the general convention of the RPP.
